Welcome
to Home 19!
A warm welcome awaits
you in our historic home. You dream of peace and quiet, breakfast in
bed, the smell of fresh bread straight from the oven and
a log fire blazing in the hearth. You appreciate a table
prettily laid with fruit and flowers from the garden, and the small
acts of kindness that make all the difference ...
Welcome
home ...
Imagine your
surroundings. At your feet there is the garden, the Way
of St James and its pilgrims. Beyond
it you see the salt marsh washed daily by the sea, speckled with
hundreds of white sheep. And the shepherds with their dogs, rounding
up their flock, would that interest you? I'll take you there! Pull on
your gumboots and let's go. Then there are the beautiful beaches
to visit,
vast and wild, bordered by green and fragrant dunes,
home to birds and other species particular to the area.
Wherever
you go, you will find medieval châteaux
to visit,
a wonderful introduction to past times. Did you know that the Vikings
first landed here? But enough for now—do come and discover the
rest for yourself.
